JUDGES & RULES FOR QUALIFIERS

APRIL 16TH - CHAPS & CHERIF QUALIFIER - ROR NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER TSR SHOWING FINALS QUALIFIER

This is a qualifying show for the CHERIF CHAMPIONSHIP 2017. The final will be held at the Cherif Championship Show, Addington Manor Equestrian Centre, Addington, Bucks on 13th September 2017 . All details and qualifying cards at £25 each (payable to Cherif Championship) from: Miss L. Temple, Gardens, Trowbridge, Wilts. BA 14 0FN. Please state the name and accurate height of horse/pony. SAE Please and contact phone number.

This class is a qualifier for RoR Amateur Ridden Show FINAL at the RoR National Championship Show at Aintree in August 2017. Rosettes 1-6th, Prizes 1st £40 plus RoR jacket, 2nd £30, 3rd £20. 4th £10. —open to all RoR registered horses, 4yrs and over, mares and geldings owned, produced and ridden by an amateur. The series is open to AMATUERS only—those employed in racing will be able to compete. Class will be judged under “riding horse” format without “type” being taken into consideration. Blemishes caused through racing will be ignored. The first three horses will qualify. The judge will not ride at the qualifier but will ride in the final. Amateur definition—An amateur is a person who for the purpose of RoR classes does not/has not during the current season or previous season;

Engaged) in breeding , livery , buying or selling, dealing or hiring horses (for the showring) in a commercial capacity. Horses must not have been stabled at or reside in a professional producers/trainers yard (in the current season or previous season) Riders must not have ridden any animals produced by a professional/trainer in the current or previous season. Horses and riders must not have received any help from a professional producer/trainer at a show in the current or previous season, Horses must not have been ridden at a show by a rider who has ridden for a professional/producer trainer in the current or previous season. Any breaches of this ruling will be taken seriously and will result in disqualification from future classes.

This class is a qualifier for RoR In Hand Showing series at the RoR National Championship Show at Aintree, in August 2017. Rosettes 1-6th. Prizes 1st £30 PLUS RoR jacket, 2ND £20, 3RD £10 , 4TH £10. TSR Showing Finals - This show is a  qualifier for the 2017 TSR  Regional Finals. Qualify and enter ANY of the Regional Finals Central, East Anglia, North West, North East, South East, South, Wales & South West or Scottish. You Do Not have to be a TSR member to qualify or enter a final. The Rider/Handler qualifies and can enter any horse/pony in any number of Finals! 

TSR Riders Finals– 1st & 2nd riders qualify and will receive a qualification card in the ring.

TSR In Hand Finals— will qualify in any In Hand class. Handlers MUST have their cards signed in the ring by the judge/steward. Cards are available free from the TSR website .

TSR Medal Awards—TSR members can collect qualification cards and signatures and redeem for a TSR medal—see TSR website for details.

BSHA Grass Roots& SHGB Riding Club Champs—With a TSR qualification card you can also enter the BSHA Grass Roots Champs in Sept at Addington Equestrian Centre—You do not have to be a BSHA member to qualify or enter the final. This is a qualifier for the NCPA Pony of the Year Show in September 2017 . First & Second prize-winners in appropriate classes will qualify. Affiliation number 230/17

 

This is a Qualifier for The Olympia Anthony Evans SSADL Home Produced First Round Qualifiers only are open to both members and non members of SSADL 

No Spurs, No Galloping, No Wearing of Face /Body Jewellery. Whips must not exceed 30 inches .

 Foals are NOT permitted SSADL Classes For In Hand Classes- 

Minimum age of handler =9 yrs. old STALLIONS- Either for In Hand or Ridden classes, Competitors Must be 16 years of age or over. Competitors cannot enter the ring once the command of trot has been given.

RIDER/HANDLER/PONY/HORSE COMBINATION, MUST STAY THE SAME. MODE OF RIDING EITHER ASTRIDE OR SIDE SADDLE MUST ALSO REMAIN THE SAME FROM FIRST /SECOND ROUND QUALFIERS AND GRAND FINAL. You can only compete in the Olympia Anthony Evans SSADL Second Round Qualifiers, if you are a 2017 member and your animal is registered with SSAD Ltd. Once you have qualified at a First Round Qualifier and you have received an Acceptance card, only then may you compete in the Olympia Anthony Evans Second Round Qualifiers. The Second Round Champions will go on to compete at the Olympia Anthony Evans SSADL Home Produced Supreme Final at the London International Horse Show in December 2017.

 Once a competitor has qualified for the Olympia Grand Final they may continue to compete at any 2nd Round Qualifiers, but they will NOT be eligible to enter the Olympia Qualifying Championships. In this instance the second placed competitor will be eligible for this championship. Once a competitor has qualified for Olympia in the Ridden section they are NOT allowed to qualify in the In Hand section and vice versa. This show is affiliated to Equine Sports UK (ESUK) Grassroots Championships taking place at Arena UK, Grantham, Lincolnshire on the 3rd—6th August 2017. The three highest placed exhibits will qualify in each class .

This is a qualifier for NCPA Pony of the Year Show IN September 2017 . First and second prize-winners in appropriate classes will qualify. Affiliation number 230/17

 

This show is affiliated to The Coloured Horse & Pony Society (UK). Affiliation No. 17150. Both owner and the rider/exhibitor need not be a member of CHAPS (UK) nor must the horse or pony be registered with CHAPS (UK) to compete. However in order to Qualify both Owner and Rider/Exhibitor need to be a current showing member and present their valid Qualifier card IN THE RING for signing by the judge. Members to apply in writing to CHAPS (UK) for appropriate qualifier card. The CHAPS (UK) Championship Show will be held on 31st August - 2nd September 2017 shows held on or after the Postal Entry closing date 


The following classes are CHAPS (UK) Qualifying Classes :- 


In hand: Class 14 Young stock, Class 23a Open In Hand Class (includes non Native, Native , Traditional & Cob , Class 16 Veteran,  


Ridden : Class 28 First Ridden,  Class 29 Lead Rein Showing,  Class 30 Veteran, Class 34a Open Ridden (including Non Native, Native, Traditional & Cob  Class 2 Novice horse and Novice Pony.
