RULES FOR QUALIFIERS

SENIOR SHOWING & DRESSAGE QUALIFIERS - APRIL 8th , JUNE 17th & JULY 15th
This is a qualifier for the Olympia Anthony Evans SSADL Home Produced First Round Qualifiers , open to both members and non members of SSADL. No spurs,galloping, wearing of face/body jewellery. Foals are not permitted.
SSADL classes for In Hand classes, minimum age of handler—9yrs old. Stallions—either for in hand or ridden classes, competitors must be aged 16yrs or over. Grooms if required must be 16yrs of age and over . If the class has a strip section then all lead rein competitors MUST have a groom. The leader will show the equine and the groom MUST stay with the rider. Competitors cannot enter the ring once the command for trot has been given.
THE SAME RIDER/HANDLER/PONY/HORSE COMBINATION MUST STAY THE SAME FROM FIRST /SECOND ROUND QUALIFIERS AND GRAND FINAL. . ALL COMPETITORS SHOULD ACQUAINT THEMSELVES WITH SSADL RULES BEFORE ENTERING.. SSADL RULEBOOK CAN BE FOUND AT www.seniorshowingand dressage.co.uk.
1ST TO 3RD IN EACH CLASS WILL RECEIVE A £10 VOUCHER, KINDLY SPONSORED BY ANTHONY EVANS INSURANCE.
SSADL QUALIFICATION CARDS & KEEP SAKE PRIZE CARDS 1ST TO 6TH will be handed out in the ring at the time of the presentation. COMPETITORS NEED ONLY ONE QUALIFICATION CARD PER SECTION PER SEASON IN HAND AND/OR RIDDEN. IF ALREADY QUALIFIED THIS CARD MUST BE HANDED DOWN THE LINE.
NEXT STAGE—OLYMPIA SECOND STAGE QUALIFIERS—you can only compete in the Olympia Anthony Evans SSADL Second round qualifiers if you are a 2018 member and your animal is registered with SSAD Ltd and hold the 2018 membership/registration card. Once you have qualified at a Fund Qualifier and you have received an Acceptance Card, only then may you compete in the Olympia Anthony Evans Second Round Qualifiers . The second round champions will go on to compete at Olympia Anthony Evans SSADL Home Produced Supreme Final at London International Horse Show in December 2018.
Once a competitor has qualified for the Olympia Grand Final, they ay continue to compete at any 2nd Round Qualifiers, but they will not be eligible to enter the Olympia Qualifying Championships. In this instance the second placed competitor will be eligible for this chapionships. Once a competitor has qualified for Olympia in the Ridden section, they are not allowed to qualify for the In Hand section and vice versa . NCPA QUALIFERS - ALL SHOW DATES
This is a qualifier for the NCPA Pony of the Year Show in September 2018 . First & Second prize-winners in appropriate classes will qualify. Affiliation number 230/18
TSR SHOWING FINALS QUALIFIER - APRIL 8TH, APRIL 22ND, MAY 6TH, MAY 27TH, JUNE 17TH, JULY 15TH
TSR Showing Finals - This show is a qualifier for the 2018 TSR Regional Finals. Qualify and enter ANY of the Regional Finals Central, East Anglia, North West, North East, South East, South, Wales & South West or Scottish. You Do Not have to be a TSR member to qualify or enter a final. The Rider/Handler qualifies and can enter any horse/pony in any number of Finals!
TSR Riders Finals– 1st & 2nd riders qualify and will receive a qualification card in the ring.
TSR In Hand Finals— will qualify in any In Hand class. Handlers MUST have their cards signed in the ring by the judge/steward. Cards are available free from the TSR website .
TSR Medal Awards—TSR members can collect qualification cards and signatures and redeem for a TSR medal—see TSR website for details.
BSHA Grass Roots& SHGB Riding Club Champs—With a TSR qualification card you can also enter the BSHA Grass Roots Champs in Sept at Addington Equestrian Centre—You do not have to be a BSHA member to qualify or enter the final. TRADITIONAL GYPSY COB ASSOCIATION (TOYS) QUALIFIER - 8TH APRIL ,6th May & JULY 15TH
TGCA TOYS In Hand & Ridden Classes Show Number TGCA/
Pure bred classes are qualifiers for the Best of Breeds Finals at the Gypsy Cob Associations (TGCA) National Breed Championship Show “TOYS”. Classes are open to all traditional gypsy cobs.
Part Bred classes are open to all part bred traditional gypsy cobs and are qualifiers for the part bred finals at TOYS . The exhibit must have one parent that is pure bred traditional gypsy cob, a minimum of 50% breeding is accepted.
Stallions—All stallions (four years and over) in order to enter any TGCA affiliated class MUST have their TGCA stallion disc displayed ont heir bridle and be bitted as per the current TGCA rulebook. Existing TGCA members mnust present their qualification card to the judge in the ring for signature. Non members will receive qualification card from judge and have 21 days to join the TGCA and register their horse to validate the qualification. Quest for a Star Championship Show
1st,2nd and 3rd from the TGCA classes may go forward to the Quest for a Star Championship, provided they are current TGCA members and the horse is TGCA registered. Membership cards and qualification
cards (specific to that exhibit) must be presented upon entry into the ring. The Champion and Reserve qualifiy for the Ultimate Star Championship at TOYS ,
TGCA Part Bred
In Hand , any age, sex or height
Ridden, any sex or height
Go for Glory Championship
1st, 2nd and 3rd from the TGCA part bred classes may go forward to the Go for Glory Championship. For 2018 and 2019 TOYS Qualifiers, the handler/rider and exhibits (apart from the stallions) do not have to be TGCA members/registered on the date of the show. The Champion and Reserve qualify for the Crowning Glory championships at TOYS
COLOURED HORSE & PONY SOCIETY (CHAPS) - APRIL 22ND & 17TH JUNE
This show is affiliated to The Coloured Horse & Pony Society (UK). Affiliation No. 17150. Both owner and the rider/exhibitor need not be a member of CHAPS (UK) nor must the horse or pony be registered with CHAPS (UK) to compete. However in order to Qualify both Owner and Rider/Exhibitor need to be a current showing member and present their valid Qualifier card IN THE RING for signing by the judge. Members to apply in writing to CHAPS (UK) for appropriate qualifier card. The CHAPS (UK) Championship Show will be held on 3oth August - 1st September 2018 . Shows held on or after the Postal Entry closing date will ount as 2019 qualifiers.

In hand: Class 19A Young stock, Class 27Aa Open In Hand Class (includes non Native, Native , Traditional & Cob , Class 37 Veteran,
Ridden : Class 34 First Ridden, Class 35 Lead Rein Showing, Class 37 Veteran, Class 42a Open Ridden (including Non Native, Native, Traditional & Cob Class 2 Novice horse and Novice Pony.

All stallions, 4 years old and over entering these classes must be graded with CHAPS (UK). All stallions must wear Stallion ID Discs in the ring without exception.
